Learn how to dance New York Style Salsa (on 2), and other Latin social dances, with guest instructors from Dance Revolution of Ann Arbor. We ascribe to Dance Revolution's philosophy: Have fun, connect with each other, challenge yourself and build confidence in a supportive environment! Students progressing from Level 1 to Level 2 will get the chance to join a special Dance Revolution field trip with instructors Monika and Lesly!
This program is designed for people who have mobility limitations caused by pain, balance, flexibility or neurological conditions. It's a one hour and fifteen minute class that incorporates dance into modified movements to promote balance, strength, endurance and flexibility. Our instructors are licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists with a strong background in dance (one of which has her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance). They are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals in a safe and fun environment.

Perfect for everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check. Belly dance is an expressive dance which emphasizes complex movements of the torso. Originally a MIddle Eastern folk dance, it has evolved to take many different forms depending on the country and region, both in costume and dance style. Throughout history, this ritualized expression has usually been performed for other women, generally during fertility rites or parties preparing young women for marriage. We are pleased to bring this form of expression to you. It's fun, it promotes fitness, and it's a great social time! And who could turn down a great coin skirt!
