Our Goal is to help our community navigate these troubled times by offering a solution to online learning issues and working parents. Our club will offer support to children as they navigate remote learning while also providing stress management solutions and arts enrichment activities in a safe, socially distanced environment in compliance with all current health guidelines and regulations.
Spaces are available for children in grades K-8. Once our 10 spots are filled, families will be able to join the waitlist. New Kids Club members will be notified in order of registration if a spot becomes available. We also have a Wednesday only class for in school kids. Once again, we are limiting enrollment to only 10 students.
The two classes will be kept totally separate to insure the safety of all.
Our approach is multi-faceted to help your child achieve success in these challenging times:
NSDC Staff will support your child with their remote learning and assist with the technology (students bring their own laptops or tablets)
Stress management techniques like yoga, journaling, streching, etc will be used to help the students deal with the challenges involved
Fine arts options will be introduced to help the students express themselves in a fun and creative way
Your child will be in a structured environment with guidance to help them navigate the concerns of todays society and maintain a sense of "normalcy"
All within the current health guidelines and regulations
students stay within their class group
masks required for students and staff
students work 6 ft apart at stations
no shared items or food
frequent hand washing/sanitizing
temperature checks upon arrival

What is Kids Club?
Kids Club was created to assist parents with online learning and fine arts enrichment activities. We felt the need to create a club that would help working parents and essential workers to engage children during the day with enrichment activities and distanced social interactions. We are not a school or a daycare and are not licensed as such. We are a fine arts enrichment club with performing arts instructors who are extremely experienced with working with young children and capable of assisting with your child's online learning through their individual school's curriculum and instruction.
My child already takes at NSDC already, can I still enroll them in Kids Club?
Yes, of course! It does not matter if your child is a current dance student at NSDC or not. Enrollment is on a first-come-first-serve basis with priority going to children who intend to enroll on a consistent monthly basis. A waitlist will be kept should a student leave, and we will replace with the next child on the waitlist.
Are Lunches and Snacks included?
Lunches, snacks, and water must be pre-packed and brought each day. There is no access to microwaves or refrigerators for safety reasons. Food may not be shared or distributed. Please no nut products for those with airborne allergies. No food deliveries will be accepted at the studio. Lunch bags will be kept on each child's assigned workstation, and snack and lunch breaks will happen at their stations. NSDC staff will put a new pair of safety gloves on if a child needs assistance, but please try to pack lunch in a way that your child can open everything themselves.
What equipment does my child need to bring with them to Kids Club?
Students should bring a laptop or chrome book, headphones, charging cable, pad of paper, pencils, and any other school supplies they'll need for their assignments and online education through their school.
How are you keeping the M-F class separate from the Wednesday only class?
We have separate entrances for each class and separate restrooms. The will be a different teacher for the Wednesday class so as not to cross contaminate anyone, including our staff.
What happens if my child gets sick, school resumes in person, or a case of Covid happens at Kids Club?
Because we need to be so strict with safety, if your child is sick they will not be permitted inside Kids Club. Days absent will turn into credits that can be used towards Kids Club, Summer Camps at NSDC, and NSDC Class Tuition. Credits are transferrable to family members and friends. We will prorate Kids Club if in-person school becomes available again so you can return to school if you desire. If a case of Covid happens within a Kids Club, that entire group must submit a negative Covid test result before returning to Kids Club.
What are your safety protocols?
We have extensive safety and cleaning procedures and remain in strict compliance with the CDC and the Jackson County Department of Health recommendations. We also have UV/Ozone lights to sterilize the rooms every night. Your child's and our teacher's safety are foremost in our concerns.
Do you have discounts for siblings?
In order for us to maintain the highest level of safety and allow only a limited number of Kids Club members, we are unable to extend any discounts.
Spaces are available for children in grades K-8. Once our 10 spots are filled, families will be able to join the waitlist. New Kids Club members will be notified in order of registration if a spot becomes available.
